Mohanlal Takes The First Ever Biggest Decision Of His Film Career For Prithviraj Sukumaran's L2:Empuraan!
L2: Empuraan will go on floors by the first week of August and Mohanlal will be only shooting for this film until its filming is completed. The makers want to wind up the filming at the earliest.
Veteran actor Mohanlal, who recently wrapped up the elaborate and important schedule at Rajasthan for prominent director Lijo Jose Pellissery titled 'Malaikottai Valiban', is said to be getting prepared to start filming for the much-awaited sequel of super hit film Lucifer, titled 'L2: Empuraan', under the direction of Prithviraj Sukumaran, marking their third collaboration. Their latest film together is 'Bro Daddy', which was directed by Prithviraj again. Their earlier one, Lucifer, a 2019 release was a massive success.
Although it is unusual for Mohanlal with a shining career to just focus on one film at a time, Empuraan, the stalwart is reportedly considering spending more time during the making of the film. Mohanlal always is hands-full when it comes to projects in the pipeline and he shoots for different films simultaneously. However, for this political thriller, things may seem different for the actor.
As per the latest report, the mega-budgeted movie, L2: Empuraan will go on floors by the first week of August and Mohanlal will be only shooting for this film until its filming is completed. The makers want to wind up the filming at the earliest. The pre-production works and location hunt is currently on.
Speaking of the same, there is also information that the team will travel to Russia to film a few key important scenes featuring the lead actors. Other portions will be shot in and around Kerala, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.
The sequel also stars actors like Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Sai Kumar, Indrajith Sukumaran, Baiju Santhosh, Nandu, Nyla Usha, and Saniya Iyappan, among others portraying crucial characters.
Empuraan has a script by Murali Gopy and Sujith Vasudev will be working as the cinematographer. Antony Perumbavoor is bankrolling the film under the Aashirvad Cinemas banner.
