Honey Bee - Movie Review

Asif Ali, who recently married his fiancee Zama Mazreen, is out with his latest movie Honey Bee, which has hit the marque today. Actor Lal's son Jean Paul, who is making his debut as director with this film, seems to have taken inspiration from Hollywood movie Hangover as it offers enough hints at it. Even a couple of songs appear to be the rip-off of Bob Marley and Far East Movement's songs. The movie will surely impress youngster, who can relate many scenes with their own life.

Honey Bee featuring Asif Ali, Bhavana, Baburaj, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Lal and Archana Kavi in leads, is a tale of youth and friendship. The movie is a mixture of comedy, romance and suspense and this blend makes it a unique film. Set against the backdrop of Fort Kochi, the movie revolves around a group of five, how they land up in trouble after getting inebriated and how they try to wriggle out of it.

Sebastian (Asif Ali), Abu (Sreenath Bhasi), Ambrose Perera (Balu Varghese), Fernandez Disilva (Baburaj), Angel (Bhavana) and Sara (Archana Kavi) are members of a music band based in Fort Kochi. They share a very deep friendship. Sara is the sister of Ambrose. Angel is in love with Sebastian, but her brothers HC Michael (Lal), who is against their relationship, gets a marriage proposal for Angel with SI George. What happens next will form the crux of the story.
