Kili Poyi Movie Review - Worth a one-time watch

Kili Poyi, directed by Vinay Govind is a fun film that seems to be a lot inspired from Imran Khan starrer Delhi Belly. However, the film seems to have somewhere fallen short of the finish line. The script is weak and is unable to hold the attention of the audience. The narrative is quite predictable and has nothing new or exciting to offer.

Music and background score by Rahul Raj is good and so are the dialogues. They are very hard hitting and witty. Swear words could have been avoided to an extent! The climax is brilliant and should not be missed.

Chacko and Hari played by Asif Ali and Arjun are two young ad professionals who are fed up with their boss (Sandra Thomas) and her tantrums. They decide to take a break and head to Goa, where Chacko ends up meeting a beautiful foreigner (Sabreen Baker). The rest of the story of Kili Poyi revolves around their return from Goa, a mysterious bag and an extremely angry boss.

Asif Ali and Aju Varghese have done a commendable job and both seem very convincing in their respective roles. All other stars have done a good job.

Watch Kili Poyi for the fun element, funny dialogues, good performance and an interesting climax.
