Washington
(ANI):
Rocker
Pete
Doherty
made
a
painting
with
his
own
blood
and
sold
it
off
to
the
owner
of
his
local
taxi
firm
to
pay
off
outstanding
debts
of
3,330
dollars.
The
Babyshambles
singer
created
the
artwork,
which
he
describes
as
his
'best'
one,
after
a
row
with
his
managers
shortly
before
he
was
due
to
play
at
legendary
British
music
festival
Glastonbury
this
summer
(08).
The
rocker
was
stunned
with
his
creativity
but
he
had
to
hand
it
over
as
settlement
for
his
huge
cab
bill.
"I
did
it
the
day
I
thought
I
wasn't
going
to
be
playing
Glastonbury...
I'd
just
fallen
out
with
my
managers,
so
I
decided
to
stay
home
and
paint
instead...," Contactmusic
quoted
him,
as
saying.
"It's
probably
the
best
painting
I've
done
but
I
gave
it
to
the
boss
of
my
local
taxi
firm
because
I'd
run
up
a
GBP1,800
bill,"
he
added.
