Backstreet boy A J McLean propose girlfriend in style

New York (ANI): Backstreet Boys singer A.J. McLean proposed to his girlfriend in style on his 32nd birthday while he was crooning on stage. McLean who was in Hard Rock Hotel's Wasted Space nightclub, Las Vegas for his birthday bash got down on his knees and proposed to his girl Rochelle Deanna Karidis.

"He got up on stage and the DJ turned the music off…. He asked her to come up on stage and he got down on his knee and she squatted down with him. He asked her and she said yes and hugged him," the New York Daily News quoted an onlooker, as telling People.com.

A source said McLean bought a wedding ring for Karidis hours before from the Hard Rock Hotel's jewellery store."She seemed very surprised and didn't seem to know why he was getting on stage…Even his friends were shocked. They all knew he was going to propose but didn't think he would do it tonight," the insider said.
