and

Additions
In
March
2022,
reports
surfaced
indicating
that
Vignesh
Shivan
would
helm
Ajith's
62nd
film,
with
Nayanthara
also
set
to
star,
marking
her
fifth
collaboration
with
Ajith.
Anirudh
Ravichander
was
slated
to
compose
the
music.
On
March
18th,
the
official
confirmation
of
the
collaboration
between
Ajith,
Vignesh,
and
Anirudh,
tentatively
titled
AK62,
came
from
producer
Subaskaran
Allirajah
under
Lyca
Productions.
Ajith
reportedly
received
₹105
crore
for
his
role.
However,
in
January
2023,
news
emerged
that
Magizh
Thirumeni
would
take
over
directing
duties
due
to
Ajith's
dissatisfaction
with
the
script's
development.
A
muhurat
puja
was
held
on
February
21
in
Chennai,
although
Ajith
couldn't
attend.
On
Ajith's
birthday,
May
1,
2023,
the
producers
officially
confirmed
Vignesh's
replacement
with
Magizh,
unveiling
the
title
'Vidaa

and
the
film's
crew.

Before
the
replacement,

the
film
in
a
now-deleted
tweet.
Following
this
change,
reports

Confirmations
in
September
2023
revealed
Trisha's
inclusion
as
the
lead

marking
her
fifth
collaboration
with
Ajith
after
Ji
(2005),
Kireedam
(2007),
Mankatha
(2011),
and
Yennai
Arindhaal
(2015).

the
same
period,
a
meeting

sparked
speculation
about

potential
collaboration
in
the

later
supported
by
