96 Story

96 is a Tamil movie direction by Prem Kumar, cinematographer of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom. The movie has Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha in the lead roles. Nandagopalhas produced this movie in the banner of Madras Enterprises. The music for the film is composed by Govind Menon.

Story In Detail

The story of 96 takes us through the journey of Raam (Vijay Sethupathi), a travel photographer who decides to visit his native place Tanjavur. He visits the school in which he'd studied in, which has loads of memories associated with it.

After a few incidents, some of the school members plan for a reunion and Janu (Trisha), the first love of Raam, also joins the event and they meet after a gap of almost 22 years. What happens rest has been narrated in 96.
