The illegal online release of Sivaji's audio created heated debates in the Producers Council. It made many believe that someone from inside the Industry orchestrated it. Sources said that Shankar, the director of Sivaji, made known his doubts over 'Isaipuyal' A.R.Rahman and his assistants claiming that they were responsible for the blunder. Kollywood has been shocked over the incident. But there has been no official confrontation on the issue by either Shankar or AVM Studios.

Lyricist Vairamuthu expressed his shock over the issue on yesterday. According to him, a Kollywood fan from USA has reportedly called Vairamuthu and has questioned him if he had written the lines "Poombaavai aambal aambal, punnagaiyo mavval mavval..." The fan is alleged to have asked the poet to clarify the meaning of these lines. The caller asked whether he meant them in a sexist way.

Besides, Shankar approached City Crime branch to find out who is responsible for it but already the damage was already done. Film buzz is that it is a huge setback to Sivaji team who worked hard to bring the film to the audience with flying colours. They are absolutely bamboozled by the piracy incident. Superstars Rajnikanth's reaction to this mishap is known yet though. The Shankar-AR Rehman controversy has not gotten out of hand - if it does the release of the Shivaji could be hampered. Reliable sources close to AVM says that the complete original audio tracks have been dispatched to Aiyngran International for overseas distribution all over the world last week after the audio release by AVM.
