CM wishes Bharathiraja's daughter

The wedding reception of Bharathiraja's daughter Janani Aishwarya was held on Wednesday evening at Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar Hall, Chennai. She is married to Rajkumar Thambiraja, son of an esteemed industrialist.

Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. Karunanidhi attended the event along with his wife Rajathi Ammal to wish the newly married couple. He also gave them a gift .

Popular leaders from various political parties in the state and film personalities like Napoleon, Srikanth, Meena, Kovaithambi, Chitra Lakshmanan, Ram Narayanan, Kalaipuli Thanu and others attended the reception to wish the couple.

Earlier, the grand wedding was held at Malaysia. Maestro Illayaraja, S. P. Balasubramaniam, Vairamuthu, Radhika Sarathkumar, Kalaipuli S. Dhanu of the film fraternity and many other eminent personalities of Malaysia attended the marriage.

The guests enjoyed the light music programme by music director Gangai Amaran and his troupe.
