Subramanyapuram - a novel attempt

Subramanyapuram is a completely different attempt by Sai Kumar, a former Associate of Bala and Ameer. It is an interesting tale of five educated jobless youngsters in Madurai and its nearby localities. How a girl's entry into their world shatters their friendship and later how they realizes the importance of love and friendship is the essence of the story.

Chennai-600028 fame Jai, Ganja Karuppu, new faces Mari, Visithran and the director himself play important roles in the film and new face Swathi plays the heroine. Director Samudhirakkani has been showcased as the villain.

The director is very keen in showing the entire episode in the backdrop of eighties. To maintain the eighties situation in the frame, he carefully set the backdrops, costumes and other minor things.
