Selvaraghavan ties the nuptial knot with Geetanjali

Tamil film industry witnessed two grand marriages on Sunday (July 3). While actor Karthi married Ranjani in Coimbatore, director Selvaraghavan tied the nuptial knot with Geetaanjali as per the Tamil customs.

Selvaraghavan married Geethanjali, the daughter of former advocate General of Tamil Nadu PS Raman and Mrs Padmini Raman, in Chennai. For the wedding, the filmmaker wore a white silk shirt and a dhoti, where as blushing bride dressed in south silk saree.

The marriage was attended by the close relatives and friends of the couple. Mani Ratnam with his wife Suhasini, Aravind Samy, Chinni Jayanth, AM Rathinam, Prabhu, Selvaraghavan"s brother Dhanush with his wife Aishwarya and noted celebrities attended the marriage.

It may be recalled that Selvaraghavan was married to actress Sonia Agarwal in 2006. But their marriage did not last long as they parted ways in 2009. Click here to see the marriage pictures.
