Why Surya opted out of 3 Idiots remake?

Ghajini star Surya's reason for opting out of Nanban has paved the way for new speculations. Rumours have it that the actor's high demands made the makers of the film to drop him from the project.

Soon after Gemini Film Circuit confirmed Vijay's entry, speculations started doing rounds that Surya's remuneration and other issues made the filmmakers to bring back Vijay again. Shankar, who tried to break the deadlock, failed to convince the actor.

Meanwhile, a source close to Surya has rubbished the reports and said that he is fully occupied with Maatraan and Ezhaam Arivu. His dates are jam packed and the actor was not keen to delay Nanban. Hence, he decided to drop the film.

However, soon the actor will hold the press meet to announce the reason for walking out of the project.
