Velayudham release postponed?

Vijay's upcoming Tamil movie Velayudham's release has reportedly been postponed. The major part of the film is yet to be shot, which has delayed the film.

According to reports, Velayudham was supposed to release on Vijay's birthday (June 22). A few scenes and two songs are yet to be shot. Sources close to the development has revealed that an introductory song of the actor has forced the makers of the film to postpone its release.

Recently, Jayam Ravi decided to have an intro number in Velayudham on Vijay. The estimate budget of the song is said to be Rs. 2 crores. The film unit will leave for Europe for the canning of the song.

Meanwhile, the makers of the film are planning to launch the audio of Vijay, Genelia D'Souza and Hansika Motwani starrer movie on May 14. It is said that AIADMK supremo Jayalalitha is expected to attend the function.
