Ilayathalapathy Vijay is heading to New Delhi to support Anna Hazare's India Against Corruption movement. He has left to the capital city today and will fast for a day with the anti-corruption crusader.
Reports claim that the actor, who could not attend the token fast organized by the Tamil film industry, has left early morning to New Delhi. He will be joined by his fans from the capital city. Vijay will meet Anna Hazare at Ramlila Maidan and fast along with the 74-year-old Gandhian, whose satyagraha entered tenth day on Thursday. The Kaavalan star will return to Chennai late in the evening today.
It may be recalled that a few days ago superstar Rajinikanth also supported the fight against the corruption campaign. He backed the movement and expressed his happiness over the youth's participation at large numbers.
Meanwhile, Vijay is gearing up for the audio release of his forthcoming Tamil movie Velayudham. The music will be launched on August 28 in Madurai. The function will be attended by the dignitaries of the Tamil film industry along with lead stars Genelia D'Souza and Hansika Motwani.
