Actress Shriya Saran has lodged a complaint against the producers
of her Malayalam movie Pokkiri Raja at South Indian Film
Artistes Association over remuneration issue. She has alleged that
the movie bosses are releasing the film in Tamil without paying her
The 29-year-old says that she came to know that the makers of
the film were dubbing Pokkiri Raja in Tamil recently.
However, when they signed her for the film, they did not pay more.
Hence, Shriya Saran has filed the complaint at South Indian Film
Artistes Association asking them to halt the release of the movie
until they settle her dues.
On the other end, Malaysia Pandian, who has bagged the Tamil
rights, said that he has not signed any agreement with Shriya Saran
and it is the responsibility of the original producers to pay her
salary. He will be taking legal action against the actress if she
tries to halt the release in Tamil Nadu.
