Surya not part of Kamal Hassan's Hollywood project

Surya is not acting with Kamal Hassan in his debut Hollywood flick. Recently, it was said that the Ghajni star was approached by the Universal Star and the former had accepted the offer. But Kamal's spokesperson has denied the rumours.

Kamal Hassan's spokesperson has claimed that the Hollywood movie is not a multi-starrer flick and it is a subject which has scope for only one hero and that will be played by Ulaganayagan himself. The reports of Kamal approaching Surya are baseless and the actor is fully busy with his next project Vishwaroopam.

The Nayangan star is joining hands with Lord of the Rings producer Barrie M Osborne for the international film. The project is still in a nascent stage with just the ideation happening. It will focus on the Indian history and culture on a Hollywood template.

"Kamal's knowledge about history, literature and films is encyclopedic. He presented an idea to me that was so compelling that I couldn't resist working with him," Osborne had told when he visited India a few months ago.
