Gautham
Menon,
who
shelved
his
much-hyped
Yohan:
Adhyayam
Ondru,
has
put
his
another
project
on
a
back
burner.
Well,
the
director's
proposed
project
Thuppariyum
Anandhan
has
followed
the
footsteps
of
Yohan,
as
he
wants
to
make
a
different
flick
with
Surya.
The
filmmaker
has
confirmed
that
he
has
penned
an
entirely
different
script
keeping
Surya
in
mind
and
it
will
take
off
in
March
2013.
According
to
reports,
Thuppariyum
Anandhan
has
put
on
the
back
burner
and
the
fate
of
the
movie
is
sealed.
The
untitled
project
will
be
an
action-romatic
film.
Other
details
about
the
project
are
under
wraps.
Meanwhile,
Surya,
whose
Maattrraan
was
released
recently,
is
busy
with
Singam
2.
There
are
also
rumours
that
he
would
be
working
in
a
project
each
with
Lingusamy
and
Sasikumar.
On
the
other
end,
Gautham
Menon
is
busy
with
his
forthcoming
romantic-musical
Neethaane
En
Ponvasantham.
The
movie
will
release
on
December
14
and
the
director
will
concentrate
on
Surya's
project
after
the
release
of
Jeeva
and
Samantha
starrer
film.
However,
Thuppariyum
Anandhan
was
earlier
offered
to
Ajith
Kumar
but
the
actor,
who
showed
interest
in
the
project
in
initial
stages,
lost
interest
and
walked
out
of
the
project.
Later,
Gautham
Menon,
who
had
earlier
worked
with
Surya
in
films
like
Kaakha
Kaakha
and
Vaaranam
Aayiram,
shared
his
unhappiness
over
Thala
and
replaced
him
with
the
Ghajini
star.
