traders,
Aamir
Khan's
Talaash
was
released
in
14
screens
in
Chennai
on
November
30.
The
film
has
collected
Rs
42
lakhs
(gross)
in
the
first
three
days
and
has
netted
Rs
35
lakhs.
It
is
said
to
be
a
good
collection
for
a
Hindi
film
in
Chennai.
The
occupancy
for
the
film
was
better
than
average
and
on
Saturday,
the
film
received
a
good
occupancy
in
multiplexes.
However,
in
the
Chennai
Box
Office,
the
Aamir
Khan
starrer
film
is
in
second
place
after
Vijay's
Thuppakki,
which
is
still
going
strong
at
the
domestic
Box
Office.
Seenu
Ramasamy's
Neerparavai,
Ang
Lee's
Hollywood
film
Life
of
Pi
and
last
week
release
Naduvula
Konjam
Pakkatha
Kaanom
are
in
the
third,
fourth
and
fifth
position,
respectively,
at
the
Chennai
Box
Office.
However,
Talaash
starring
Aamir
Khan,
Kareena
Kapoor
and
Rani
Mukherjee
in
leads,
has
done
wonderful
business
at
the
domestic
Box
Office.
The
psychological
thriller
has
raked
in
Rs
47.1
crores
nett
at
the
desi
collection
centres
in
the
first
weekend.
