Deepika Padukone's wish to conquer the Kollywood got a big blow with the actress drawing huge criticisim for her role in her debut Tamil movie Kochadaiiyaan starring Rajinikanth. Now, the Bollywood actress seems to probably have missed an opportunity to regain the lost ground as she has turned down Illayathalapathy Vijay's next movie, which is presently called as 'Vijay 58', with Chimbudevan. Well, her place has now been filled by Hansika Motwani.
Big Names Considered
Looking at her enthusiasm to make it big in Kollywood, director Chimbudevan had approached Deepika Padukone to play the main female lead in the forthcoming fantasy project. The talks were on and the Bollywood actress had taken her own time to tell her decision. In the end, she could not take up the film and she has reportedly cited her other commitments for turning down the offer. Before approaching her, the movie bosses had offered the Tamil film to Priyanka Chopra and a few other big names.
