Sivakarthikeyan's Maan Karate has got an opening something that a star's movie gets at Box Office. The Tamil flick was released in close to 350 theatres and has got a fantastic reception all across the state. The first day collection of the film has expected to be the best ever for a Sivakarthikeyan film.

Maan Karate was the first big release this summer. The Tamil movie has been getting good attention from audience and public. The good promotional skills ensured great advance booking. As a result, the film has got a wonderful opening at collection centres.

The Tamil click was released in above 25 screens. On an average, the occupancy for the morning shows witnessed above 90% occupancy in Chennai. The matinee shows saw a dip in the occupancy but evening shows at multiplexes did well.

The overall occupancy in Tamil Nadu for Maan Karate is expected to be above 70% occupancy. The good pre-talk and the success of the audio played major role in pulling crowds to theatre.

An industry observer speaks, "It is the best-ever opening for Sivakarthikeyan. The success of his last two movies made people look forward for Maan Karate.
