Robo Shankar Joins Dhanush And Kajal Aggarwal

Robo Shankar, who entered Kollywood through a TV show in which he had performed as a stand up comedian acted in movies like Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, Yaaruda Mahesh and Vaayai Moodi Pesavum in which he was seen playing insignificant roles.

Balaji Mohan, who directed Vaayai Moodi Pesavum has been impressed with Robo Shankar's performance in the film and has decided to rope him in as the main comedian in his upcoming film with Dhanush under the actor's production banner Wunderbar Films in which Kajal Aggarwal will play the female lead. This is the first time Dhanush and Kajal will be seen together on-screen and the actress will be seen in a Tamil film after a short gap as she was last seen in Jilla.

Balaji Mohan, who will be focusing on comedy sequences in his next film, has reportedly acquired call sheet for 60 days from the comedian. Sources say that Robo Shankar and Balaji Mohan are meeting often to discuss about the types of comedy the movie will host.

With this Dhanush's upcoming film, Robo Shankar, who was seen playing minor characters in his previous movies will take up the responsibility of carrying the entire humour section of a film as a solo comedian.

Meanwhile, Balaji Mohan who is currently directing a Malayalam film is expected to start his works on the Dhanush starrer once the VIP actor finishes Soodhadi which is being directed by the Aadukalam director Vetrimaaran.
