Sameera Reddy To Wed Akshai Varde

After donning grease paint for over a decade, gorgeous Sameera Reddy seems to be ready to bid goodbye to films. The actress is getting ready to marry businessman named Akshai Varde.

Sources say that Sameera Reddy had an engagement ceremony with Akshai Varde on December 14. It was a low-key event, which was restricted to family and friends. The couple is all set to tie the knot in 2014. But the date of their marriage is not yet fixed.

It is said that Sameera Reddy and Akshai Varde met through their common friends. Their love has been approved by their families. Her beau runs the company that makes custom-made bikes. Akshay Kumar's bike in Oh My God was designed by his company.

Sameera Reddy started her acting career in Bollywood with Maine Dil Tujhko Diya in 2002. She entered Tamil films with Gautham Menon's superhit movie Varanam Aayiram in 2008. Since then, she has worked in Kollywood films like Ajith Kumar's Asal, Nadunissi Naaygal, Vedi and Vettai. She had also signed Surya starrer Dhruva Natchathiram, which was dropped after performing muhurat.
