Surveen Chawla's bold acts in her recently-released Hindi movie Hate Story 2 has stunned the filmmakers down South. Many are wondering whether is this the same girl, who had acted in Tamil and Telugu films before venturing into Bollywood. Her performance in the thriller flick has now made them to make a beeline to get her callsheets.
Before looking out for opportunities in films, Surveen Chawla earned good name in Hindi television show Comedy Circus Ke SuperStars. This helped many South Indian filmmakers to rope in her for their movies. Kannada movie Paramesha Panwala was her first South film and soon she acted in Telugu project Raja Maharaju.
During the process, Surveen Chawla got offers from Punjabi films and became busy for a few years. Her first Tamil movie was Moondru Per Moondru Kadal starring Action King Arjun Sarja. The Vasanth directorial flick failed to keep the cash registers ringing and her Puthiya Thiruppangal featuring Nandha and Andrea Jeremiah met the same fate.
