Vijay 58 : Sridevi Plays A Queen And Sudeep Plays A Commander

Earlier there were rumours being spread that Sudeep of Naan Ee fame and Vijay will be seen as brothers in Vijay's upcoming movie with Chimbu Deven and that yesteryear actress Sridevi will play the role of a mother to Vijay and Sudeep, but sources close to the project have quashed such rumours.

An insider says that Sudeep will play a role of an antagonist in the film and it will be an out and out Vijay movie. There were also rumours doing rounds that Vijay and Sudeep will have equal screen space. Putting an end to all such gossips, the insider has revealed that Sudeep will play a commander in the film and has negative shades to his character.

Revealing about the character played by Sridevi, the sources has said that the veteran actress will play a queen of a kingdom in which the Naan Ee actor plays a commander of the armed forces.

Also, the budget of this movie is estimated to be over a 100 crore rupees as the movie has some advanced special effects apart from boasting of some awe-inspiring sets of palaces and an entire Kingdom. Vijay 58 will also be one of the biggest Tamil movie ever produced financially, added the source.
