Baahubali Tamil 5 Days (Tuesday) Box Office Collections: Can Dhanush's Maari Survive The Storm?
Baahubali is still going strong all over the world collecting more than 230 crore rupees from its first five days and the Tamil version of the film is not an exception. Baahubali(Tamil) is setting box office on fire in Tamil Nadu and hence might hamper the first weekend collections of Maari.
Collecting a mammoth 23 crore rupees from Tamil Nadu alone, the first five days (Friday to Tuesday) collections of Baahubali in the state has already surpassed the two weeks collections of many recently released straight Tamil movies.
Not just in Tamil Nadu, but the Tamil version of SS Rajamouli's magnum opus is doing pretty well in other parts of the country as well. In Bangalore, the movie is still running to packed houses even on weekdays which is some achievement.
With Dhanush's Maari releasing this Friday (17th July), it will be interesting to see which movie comes out on top this weekend. Will Baahubali turn itself into a daunting hurdle for Maari or will Maari manage to escape the hurdle unscathed? The answers will be found soon.

First Day Collections
From its first day alone the Tamil version of Baahubali had collected ₹5.10 crore from the whole of Tamil Nadu. The collections from other parts of the world is estimated at ₹4.5 crore (Tamil).
Second Day Collections
The second day collections of the Tamil movie in the state of Tamil Nadu is said to be ₹5.15 crore. From the rest of the world, it might've collected around 5.5 crores.
Third Day Collections
Being a Sunday, the third day collections saw a rise as the total gross at the end of the day was calculated at ₹5.75 crore. 6.5 crore rupees is the estimated amount from the rest of the world.
Fourth Day Collections
From its fourth day the total amount grossed by Baahubali (Tamil) is said to be ₹3.70 crore from the whole of Tamil Nadu. From the remaining parts of the planet, the estimated collections is close to 4 crore rupees.
Fifth Day Collections
₹3.30 crore is said to be the total gross of Baahubali in Tamil Nadu from its fifth day (Tuesday). From the rest of the world it could've grossed around ₹3.5 crore, according to trade talks.
Total Tamil Nadu Collections
According to basic mathematics, the total five day collections of Baahubali in Tamil Nadu is a staggering 23 crore rupees, which is much higher than the average box office collections of a straight Tamil movie in its first five days.
