Cinematographer
Nataraj
Subramaniam
aka
Natty,
who
was
roped
into
Ilayathalapathy
Vijay's
Puli
is
a
known
face
in
Tamil
Nadu
thanks
to
his
super
hit
movie
Sathuranga
Vettai.
But
his
popularity
quotient
is
North
India
is
even
bigger
than
it
is
in
South
as
he
has
worked
in
many
prominent
Hindi
movies
and
some
well
known
TV
ads
featuring
Indian
cricket
players.
Recollecting
his
most
cherished
memory
while
filming
one
such
TV
ad,
Natty
has
praised
Indian
cricket
team
captain
MS
Dhoni
for
his
ability
to
put
himself
in
others'
shoes.
According
to
a
leading
Tamil
daily,
cameraman
Natty
had
once
found
himself
in
a
spot
of
bother
as
he
couldn't
finish
his
shooting
within
the
allotted
time
of
two
days
as
rain
had
played
spoilsport.
In
an
ad
featuring
most
important
Indian
players,
the
second
day
shoot
was
supposed
to
be
held
outdoor.
But
the
entire
team
was
forced
to
stay
under
a
roof
because
of
the
rain.
"When
the
producers
had
feared
the
worst,
it
was
Dhoni
who
convinced
everyone
to
wait
for
the
rain
to
go
away
and
ultimately
we
completed
the
shoot
around
10:30
PM",
Natty
has
said.
Apart
from
Puli,
the
famed
cameraman
has
only
worked
in
one
other
Tamil
film,
Thuppakki.
He
became
a
noteworthy
actor
in
Tamil
through
Sathuranga
Vettai
which
earned
him
accolades.
