Jiiva's
upcoming
comedy,
Kavalai
Vendam,
which
is
being
directed
by
Deekay
was
thought
to
be
dropped
by
many
after
the
team
stopped
shooting
for
the
film,
right
after
completing
the
first
schedule.
The
pause
in
the
continuity
was
initially
caused
by
the
state
elections.
But,
there
were
no
updates
about
the
progression
of
the
movie,
even
days
after
the
elections
were
concluded.
But
now,
everything
seems
to
be
right
back
on
track
as
the
shooting
has
been
resumed
with
all
the
lead
actors,
including
Kajal
Aggarwal,
Bobby
Simha
and
Sunaina,
under
one
roof.
"The
initial
shooting
schedule
with
the
lead
cast
was
in
January
in
Kotagiri.
We
also
shot
for
a
couple
of
weeks.
Then,
in
between,
we
had
put
the
shoot
on
hold
due
to
elections.
Also,
as
it
is
a
multi-starrer,
it
took
time
to
bring
all
the
actors
back
together," a
source
close
to
the
project
told
Times
of
India.
The
shooting
will
now
resume
at
Kotagiri
and
will
then
move
on
to
Chennai.
Now,
everybody's
dates
have
been
finalised,
and
we
will
be
shooting
with
Jiiva,
Kajal,
Bobby
and
Sunaina
for
a
week
in
Kotagiri,
and
then
will
continue
filming
in
Chennai.
The
cast
of
the
film
is
having
a
whale
of
a
time
post
pack-up
each
day.
We
team
up
and
cook
different
recipes
together,
and
eat,
and
chill
out," the
source
has
added.
Jiiva,
who
is
awaiting
the
release
of
Thirunaal,
which
also
stars
Nayanthara,
will
also
be
seen
in
Sangili
Bungili
Kadhava
Thorae,
being
directed
by
Ike
Radha.
He
has
also
signed
two
more
projects
namely,
Gemini
Ganesan
and
Kayavargal.
While
Gemini
Ganesan
will
be
directed
by
Muthu
Kumar,
Kayavargal
will
be
helmed
by
Mahend.
Both
the
films
are
under
pre-production
mode.
Stay
tuned
for
further
updates.
