REVEALED: Rajinikanth Will Have To Tackle Military Tanks & Shortage Of Mobile Phones In '2.0'

According to the latest report, director Shankar's upcoming film 2.0 will house a scene involving military tanks. The scene, which was shot in Chennai, is supposedly an important action sequence.

The report from Times of India has it that, along with this particular action sequence, which was captured during dusk, the team of 2.0 also shot a scene inside a huge mobile phone store like set, erected at EVP theme park in the outskirts of the city.

"The team shot a night sequence with military tanks in the city recently. For another scene, they erected a set of a huge mobile store on the outskirts of Chennai, at EVP theme park." A source close to the project has confirmed.

Revealing the reason behind the erection of a set resembling a huge mobile phone store, the source has added, "the scene is about how there is a sudden mobile phone crisis in the city, and how thousands of youngsters rush to the mobile store to buy phones."

Well, mobile phone crisis in the city is definitely an interesting situation. It will be interesting to see where in the movie, film-maker Shankar intends to use this particular scene.
