Chandramukhi 2 is the upcoming comedy horror film starring Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in prominent roles. The movie is written and directed by P Vasu.

The filmmakers dropped a theatrical trailer recently and the fans of the Chandramukhi movie are curious about what the filmmakers have in store in the sequel. But, there is also a section of cinephiles who opined that the trailer wasn't as interesting.

The movie charts the life of a woman who suffers from dissociative identity disorder which affects her family, and a psychiatrist who plans to solve the mystery, once again.

The movie which is in the final stage of its post-production work, is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on September 15. The dubbed versions will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam.

The digital streaming rights of the much-anticipated sequel with Kanagana Ranaut as Chandramukhi, are secured by the OTT giant Netflix. The movie will make its streaming debut after finishing its theatrical run. After September 15, Chandramukhi 2's reception at the box office will decide the date of its OTT debut. Generally, the gap between a film's theatrical release and OTT release is 5 weeks. However, these terms can change depending on the film's performance.

The sequel stars Raghava Lawrence as Vettaiyan and Raja in a dual role. Kangana Ranaut will be seen as Chandramukhi. Vadivelu played the role of Murugesan. In addition, Chandramukhi 2 stars Raadhika Sarathkumar, Lakshmi Menon, Srushti Dange, Mithun Shyam, Mahima Nambiar, Rao Ramesh, Vignesh, Ravi Mariya, Suresh Menon, YG Mahendran, and TM Karthik among others. Late Manobala appeared posthumously in Chandramukhi 2.

Written and directed by P Vasu, the movie is a production venture of Subaskaran Allirajah under his Lyca Productions banner. RD Rajasekhar cranked the camera and Anthony worked as the Editor. Oscar Award-winner MM Keeravani worked as the film's music composer.
