Did Parthiban DENY Seetha’s Request For Patch Up? Here’s What We Know

It goes without saying that Parthiban is a highly popular director and actor in Tamil cinema who recently received a huge attention after his role in the magnum opus, Ponniyin Selvan. He not only delivered splined acting in films but also directed a good number of acclaimed movies such as the most recent one, Iravin Nizhal.

His former wife, Seetha, a leading actress in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu cinema, made her film debut in 1985 with the Tamil movie Aan Paavam. She acted in films until 1991 and then took a hiatus, returning to acting in 2002. Parthiban was previously married to Sita, but they separated due to differences of opinion. Later, Seetha got married to one Satish, whom she later divorced due to personal reasons.

In an interesting turn of events, Seetha reportedly expressed her interest to reunite with Parthiban. Apparently, she openly asked Parthiban if it was possible for them to reconsider their relationship. However, Parthiban denied the same. While we do not know if this really happened, this piece of information is making the rounds on social media.

On the acting front, parthiban's recent movie, Ponniyin Selvan 2 is setting the box office on fire. Directed by ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam, Parthiban played the role of an important character, Chinna Pazhuvetayarar. The film also had an ensemble of other lead actors including the likes of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha Krishnan, Jayam Ravi, Chiyaan Vikram, and Karthi to name a few. The film was released on April 28, and has been receiving positive reviews from fans and critics alike. The first part of Ponniyin Selvan was released in September 2022. On the directorial front, Parthiban recently announced that he will consider helming the second installment of his popular and critically acclaimed movie, Azhagi, which starred Nandhitha Das, Deviyani and Parthiban in the lead roles.
