Mumbai (UNI): Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff has been approached by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji telefilms to be part of one of their forthcoming television shows. Jackie had earlier anchored a television series on Sony Television called Missing. According to sources, Ekta is keen to have Jackie play opposite Smriti Iraani. Smriti who now plays grandmother in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi will be seen playing her age in the new show. The actress-politician is co-producing the new series with Ekta.

When contacted, Jackie said he had not taken any decision so far. ''They have sent me the script yesterday. But, I have not read it as yet,'' he informed. Before Jackie, Amrita Singh is the top Bollywood personality who featured in Ekta's serial Kavyanjali.
