Diya Aur Baati Hum: Bhabho Wipes Out The Memories Of Sandhya

Diya Aur Baati Hum's July 20th episode: Sandhya comes to the Kali temple as Sagarika Das. The Kolkata Police also comes there in search of Sagarika. An officer marks Sandhya and tells her that he has to take her to the police station for interrogation. Sandhya says she cannot go before the worship is complete. The officer agrees to wait for her.

A drummer arrives at the temple. He covers his face with dust color and beats the drum casually. During the worship rituals, he breaks the drum and spreads tear gas in the temple.

The drummer abducts Sandhya amid the chaotic situation. The policemen become alert. Sandhya is taken to the jungle den of the Garjana organisation. The Boss sees the video footage and cheers up for the success of the first step.

The Rathi family goes through a drastic change after the news of Sandhya’s death. Bhabho behaves as a strict and heartless mother-in-law! Mohit is taken back to the house. After three months, the family sits for the routine worship to pray for the peace of Sandhya’s soul.

Zakir comes to the house to deliver the medal and the certificate of Sandhya, given by the Indian Government for her unparalleled dedication to the service of the nation. Bhabho defiantly says that Sandhya was never loyal to her family, rather she has cheated her family members.

Bhabho declares that she has freed Sandhya from the bonding of the Rathi family and now, anything related to Sandhya cannot be a part of this family. Shockingly, she throws the medal and the certificate!

Ved picks up the gold medal and recalls that a medal is not made up of gold, but it is made up of courage, loyalty and patriotism, as his mother used to say!
