Diya Aur Baati Hum: Oops! Sooraj Aka Anas Rashid Injured On The Sets

Diya Aur Baati Hum has been keeping the audience engaged with the ongoing Kabaddi camp. The track is getting interesting with the Kabaddi sequence where Sooraj is determined to win the trophy. With the prize money that he gets from winning, he wants to build his dream hotel.

It is reported that while shooting for the Kabaddi sequence, Sooraj aka Anas Rashid sprained his ankle. According to reports, Anas has hired a personal trainer to look like Kabaddi player on the show. No doubt, he is looking a real sportsperson on the show.

Apparently, Anas, who is hurt is advised 10 days rest by doctor. Anas was quoted by IANS as saying, "We were shooting a crucial scene and unfortunately I had a bad fall. The doctor said I needed to rest, but how could I delay the entire shoot? It affects the schedule of the entire cast and I don't want the show to suffer at my cost."

The actor further added, "There are real kabaddi players on sets whom I have approached like ten times already for tips, they are so helpful. They have given me valuable insights into the game which I am incorporating in my acting."

It has to be noted that few days back, his reel-life wife Sandhya aka Deepika Singh had also faced some medical issues. She was suffering from a lump or a nodule in her throat due to which she is not able to eat or speak. Because of which, she was given minimal dialogues. There were also reports that if the nodule in her throat doesn't heal then she will have to go undergo a throat operation.

Looks like Sandhya is alright now. We hope Sooraj too get well soon.
