Diya Aur Baati Hum: Sooraj Gives Tearful Speech; Will Sandhya Accept Sooraj’s Apology?

In Diya Aur Baati Hum, Rathi's family has realised the importance of Sandhya (Deepika Singh) and has been waiting for her return. Though Sooraj (Anas Rashid) loves Sandhya, he had ditched her by sending her away as he thought she didn't do justice to her family. Also, Ankur wanted Sandhya to move on from her marriage, which didn't value her.

On the other side, Babasa searches for Sooraj to watch television, where they had telecast Republic day ceremony, but doesn't find him. Babasa and Bhabho watch TV, while Meenakshi gives comments saying it's not good that Sooraj isn't here when his wife is receiving the award. Babasa and Bhabo make faces, but do not reply as they are angry on their sons and their wives.

Sooraj had let her go to Scotland, but since then he has been repenting for not stopping her on time. He comes to Republic day ceremony, where Zakir and Sandhya are to receive their Bravery awards. Zakir receives the award and when it's turn of Sandhya, Ankur and Sooraj come forward to take her award. Ankur lets Sooraj go as he requested.

Sooraj receives the award and gives very touching and tearful speech. He apologies and says he was selfish and coward at that time that he didn't understand her duty towards Nation. He says he is happy for her as she received this award and made every one proud of her.

He adds that Sandhya has always done a duty of wife and daughter-in-law. He had even made mistake that he insulted women and her sacrifice. He couldn't fulfil the duty of a husband and he is shameful of it. He asks everyone why all blame has to go on women, when she sacrifices so much. She leaves her family and takes care of husband's family as hers. Why are women always tested!

Meenakshi listens to his speech and says that Sooraj is insulting the family by declaring everything in front of all. While Babasa and Bhabho are happy that Sooraj has accepted the fault. Sandhya too listens to each and every word Sooraj said and cries.

Sooraj says it's upto Sandhya if she accepts his apology or not. But he will wait for her forever!

It has to be seen if Sandhya leaves Scotland and forgive Sooraj? What will Ankur do?
