In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the family members have got to know that Gayu loves Kartik (Mohsin Khan). We had already revealed that Naira, who also loves the same person, has decided to sacrifice her love for her sister.

Naira-Kartik
In the upcoming episodes, when Naira asks Kartik to move on in his life, Kartik angrily leaves the Singhania house. Naitik and Akshara would doubt them. Naitik will also follow Kartik and Naira.
Kartik Angry
Kartik goes to a small tea stall, while Naira follows him. Naira tries to make Kartik understand that they are just good friends. Kartik gets angry again, and leaves the place.
Kartik Hurt
But, suddenly, the crackers in the store catch fire, and Naira will gets stuck. Both Kartik and Naira will try to save each other. Unfortunately, Kartik faints, as he gets hurt.
Naitik Comes To Naira-Kartik's Rescue
Seeing Kartik in pain, Naira cries for help. Naitik, who would be following Naira and Kartik, will be shocked to see Naira crying for Kartik. They take Kartik to the hospital.

In the upcoming episode, Naira would also ask Kartik to accept Gayu's proposal. This hurts Kartik, who in turn would keep a condition. He would ask Naira to find a guy in his life and then he would marry Gayu.

On the occasion of Diwali, Naira and Gayu will be seen decorating the house. Although Naira will be lost in her own world, she pretends to be happy for the sake of her family.

Mishti comes back home! Well, it is this little Mishti who would get the two lovers together. According to the latest spoiler, Gayu would overhear Mishita saying that Naira and Kartik love each other.
Gayu Unites Kartik & Naira
Gayu, will be shocked initially, but later, she will sacrifice her love for Naira. She will reunite Kartik and Naira. The elders will also be happy about the same.
Story so far...
After knowing that Gayu loves Kartik, Akshara and Naitik decide to speak to Kartik about Gayu's marriage. Gayu is very happy about the same, where Naira seems completely shattered.
Kartik would have left everything and gone to Delhi. Naitik tries to reach Kartik, but his attempt goes in vain as his phone would be switched off. So he mails Kartik to reach home soon.
During Diwali, Kartik arrives to the Singhania house, thinking that Naitik must have called him for some official work. The family members welcome him in a special way, while Kartik feels it strange.
Naitik sees Kartik and Naira speaking together, and assumes that something is wrong between them. Even Akshara feels the same. Naitik decides to find out what his princess is hiding from them.
On the other hand, Mishti will be sent to her grandmother's place as Karishma's mother will be missing her a lot!
Naira knows that Mishti knows everything about Kartik. She is also scared that Mishti would reveal about Kartik and her love story to the elders.
