Ankita Lokhande In Ekta Kapoor’s Devdas That Will Have A Feminine Twist!

Ekta Kapoor is known for her different approach. She has promised fresh, bold and unique content on her new digital venture - Alt Balaji. We recently reported about Mouni Roy being approached for one of the web series. Now, there are reports about another web series which might feature Pavitra Rishta actress Ankita Lokhande!

Apparently, Ekta is all set to come up with a web series that will be breaking the traditional Devdas. Ekta's Devdas will have a feminine Twist. According to a report from an entertainment website, the web series in which Ankita is roped in, will depict the story of Devika, which will have a male Paro and Chandramukhi! Ekta is apparently considering Ankita for the role of Devika, while she is yet to finalise Chandramukhi.

According to the report, the web series will revolve around 'the story of young and rebellious Devika and her journey through life with love, passion, heartbreak, sex, self-destruction and redemption'.

Well, it will be interesting to watch a show that will have female version of Devdas, male version of Paro and Chandramukhi.

It has to be recalled that Ankita and Ekta's association had been wonderful. Ankita was seen on Ekta Kapoor's Pavitra Rishta. But, after the show went off air, it was said that the duo was not on good terms as Ankita had rejected Ekta's show!

Looks like Ankita and Ekta are back together and we are all excited to see the magic again!
