Hyderabad-based singer, LV Revanth became the winner of the popular musical reality show, Indian Idol 7 and he took home a coveted trophy, prize money of 25 Lakhs, a contract with Sony Music and a Mahindra KUV 100.
The versatile singer has a become an instant favourite of the masses and has a huge fanbase. After getting a foothold in the Telugu movie industry, the singer wants to focus now on Bollywood.
In an interview to a leading entertainment portal, the singer recalled his struggle during the initial days and mentioned that he was often insulted for not knowing Hindi. The singer revealed that he is huge fan of Akshay Kumar and wants to sing for him.
Post his win, the young singer has been flooded with offers. The singer apparently signed his maiden contract with the very prestigious Universal Music India, which is known to kickstart the musical careers of several newcomers. The label has planned to release singles with Revanth along with endorsements and live shows to give him a wider platform.

Meanwhile, Revanth received a grand welcome at his hometown post his win. His family, friends and fans gathered outside his residence with sweets, placards, garlands and dhols to welcome him.
