Dipika Kakar pregnancy: TV's Simar aka Dipika Kakar remained in headlines ever since rumours about her quitting acting surfaced on the internet. After a clip from an interview went viral, fans started wondering if she will be bidding adieu to the world of showbiz after the birth of her first child.

DIPIKA KAKAR CONFIRMS SHE IS NOT QUITTING ACTING

The Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum actress has now confirmed that she is not leaving acting but will take a decision after becoming a mother. She mentioned that she was misquoted, quashing the rumours about her not working after embracing motherhood.

"Mujhe hamesha se housewife banna tha, housewife ki life jeeni hai. Jab maine apna last show khatam kiya, I was tired as I worked non-stop. Ho sakta hai main 4-5 saal kaam na karo ya fir mujhe kuch acha offer mil jaye. Aisa bhi ho sakta hain ki mujhe lage ki 4-5 saal apne bacho ko dun. Abho filhaal main kaam ke baare mein nahi soch rahi hu. It doesn't mean I am leaving acting. I can only say that when I welcome my child," she told a portal.

DIPIKA KAKAR ON HER 'FIGHT' WITH SHOAIB IBRAHIM

The Sasural Simar Ka actress, while interacting with the portal, spilled the beans on her 'fight' with husband during pregnancy. Spilling the beans on her mood swings during pregnancy, she told ETimes,
"I feel blessed for having a partner like Shoaib. Shoot karte time bhi unhone mere saare mood swings handle kiye hai. I know unke man mein ek cheez hai, mujhe bol chuke bahut baar- 'Dipika main tumhare saath time nhi bita paya'."

"When you're shooting for a daily soap, it is possible to take out time, However, he never let me feel his absence. He was there every time. Iss dauran main unse main bahut jyada ladi hu. Shot khatam karke dobara unhone call kiya," she added.

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, who tied the knot in February 2018, will welcome their first child after five years of marriage. Dipika is due for delivery in July 2023. Earlier this year, they announced her pregnancy by sharing a cute post on social media.

On the professional front, Dipika was last seen on the small screen in Sasural Simar Ka 2. She played a cameo in the daily soap that aired on Colors channel.
