Tina Datta On Off-Air Reports: After winning hearts in Salman Khan's controversial reality show Bigg Boss 16, Tina Datta made her comeback in the fiction genre with Sony TV's Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum alongside Jay Bhanushali.
An adaptation of the popular Turkish series İstanbullu Gelin, also known as Bride of Istanbul, the show premiered on Sony TV in April this year amid huge buzz and expectations. While Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum has been fetching huge critical acclaim for its storyline and performance, it has been underperforming on the TRP front since the beginning.
In the past few days, several reports suggested that Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum is likely to go off-air in August after a run of just four months. While the reports left the show's ardent fans disappointed, Tina Datta aka Surili has finally opened up about the rumours of her daily soap ending soon.

The actress dismissed the reports and stated that the show is not going anywhere. She stated, "We're not going anywhere so soon!! Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost. The show has just begun and there are lots of spices in making for the audience. New entries, some revelations, major twists and some unexpected mysteries!! STORYLINE OF TINA DATTA'S HUM RAHE NA RAHE HUM
For the unversed, Kittu Gidwani plays the pivotal role of Shiv's (Jay Bhanushali) mother who isn't happy with him choosing Surili as the love of his life. Tina Datta essays the role of a modern and bold girl who lives life to the fullest.
Reportedly, the show is set for change in the time slot in August to make way for Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati 15.
