SHOCKING! Kapil Sharma’s Former Co-Star Drinks Poison During Facebook Live; Here’s What Happened

In what came as one of the most shocking and spine chilling incidents, Kapil Sharma's former co-star Tirthanand Rao left everyone shocked to bits after he attempted suicide during a recent live session on Facebook. During the live session, he even revealed the reason for taking the drastic step and blamed his apparent live in partner.

In this live session, Tirthanand revealed that the woman he was living in with was allegedly blackmailing him emotionally and even extorted money from him. And while he blamed the woman in question for his current state, he also revealed how he has been in debt because of her.

"I am in debt of Rs 3-4 lakh because of this woman. I have known her since October last year. She had filed a police complaint against me in Bhayandar and I didn't even know for what reason. Then she would also call me and say she wanted to meet," Tirthanand said in the video.

And while Tirthanand broke down while narrating his ordeal, he soon took the bottle of insect repellant and drank it during the live session. Needless to say, the actor's act left everyone shocked and his friends reportedly rushed to his residence wherein Tirthanand was found in an unconscious state. He was soon rushed to the hospital and the cops are currently investigating the matter.

To note, this isn't the first time that Tirthanand attempted suicide. He tried ending his life earlier in December 2021 owing to his financial stated. He claimed that while his financial status is in shambles, he has been going days without food or even surviving on just one vada pav a day.

For the uninitiated, Tirthanand Rao has worked with Kapil Sharma in Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe. He had earlier expressed his desire to work with the comedian once again.
