Dipika Kakar News: One of the most-loved TV couples, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar first met on the sets of their hit Colors show Sasural Simar Ka and fell in love with each other. After being together for a few years, they finally exchanged wedding vows in 2018.

Fondly called ShoaiKa by fans, the much-in-love couple is currently in the best phase of their lives as they are all set to welcome their first child very soon after five years of marital bliss. Not just that, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar are simultaneously working on their dream house.

While the duo is in a happy space, there was a time when they went through a rough patch. In a recent interview, Dipika opened up about the phase when they faced a financial crisis around their wedding. Yes, you read that right!

Recalling the difficult time she faced with Shoaib, Dipika told ETimes, "Shoaib and I've seen worse days even after doing shows and making a place of our own. Bahut bura phase dekha hai around our wedding. Financial ups and downs are part of our life and can hit you any moment. But when you start growing and doing the right investments and making assets, you become financially strong. Because of what happened last time we were relieved that we had a house... sir par chhatt toh hai... and now we are making our dream house but we have not forgotten our struggles and hardships. When we look back, we have a lot of gratitude and satisfaction."

While Dipika and Shoaib are looking forward to welcome their little munchkin next month, in July, they also made headlines for several wrong reasons in the past few weeks.

At first, haters claimed that Dipika is faking her pregnancy. However, Shoaib gave it back to trolls like a pro. Recently, several reports suggested that Dipika has announced her retirement from acting which left her fans disappointed. The actress later clarified that she's just taking a long break due to motherhood and will be back after the birth of her baby if she gets an exciting opportunity.
