Jay Bhanushali, who made his TV debut with Kasautii Zindagii Kay in 2005 and rose to fame after playing the lead role in Kayamath, has established himself among the most loved stars on the small screen.

Besides acting, Jay is also known for hosting many reality shows every year. While he was away from fiction shows ever since Colors TV Kairi - Rishta Khatta Meetha ended in 2012, the actor recently made his comeback in the genre after a decade with Sony TV's newly-launched show Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum co-starring Tina Datta.

While the actor is currently busy promoting his new show, Jay opened up about trolls attacking his wife Mahhi Vij for letting their daughter wear makeup and lipstick. He gave a strong reply to haters and cleared that they're open to listening to suggestion if people do it in a polite manner.

According to Jay, it's a widely known fact that girls have a penchant for makeup, and often take inspiration from their mothers. Even if a mother is applying lipstick, her daughter would like to do the same. While Jay and Maahi make an effort to limit their daughter Tara's makeup use, they allow her to experiment with it occasionally on weekends when she doesn't have school. While she follows her school's guidelines during the weekdays, the actor believe that it's okay to relax the rules sometimes.

Talking about dealing with trolls and negativity, Jay added, "If anyone is giving suggestions politely in a nice way, we are open to it because we understand that they also care for Tara. But when they get mean, I also don't stop. I reply to them equally meaner. In India just because 2.5 GB data is free, people have started writing nasty things to others. I get meaner and I have done that in the past and I don't shy away from accepting it. Sometimes my family tells me to let go but I make sure to reply so that others learn from it."

Well, he has a point. Trolling culture as taken over social media and team Filmibeat strongly condemns it.
