Munawar Faruqui Mourns Poonam Pandey’s Demise

Poonam Pandey is no more with us and the news has left everyone shattered. It is reported that Poonam was diagnosed with last stage of cervical cancer for a while ago and passed away on February 1, 2023. The news first surfaced online after her team shared the news of her unfortunate demise and left everyone in shock and disbelief.

The post read as, "This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared". The post was shared with a heart and folded hands emoticon on Instagram.

As the news has spread like a wildfire, Poonam's Lock Upp co-contestant Munawar Faruqui has mourned her demise. Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter (now X), the Bigg Boss 17 winner is in deep shock and is finding it hard to process the news. Munawar also remembered Poonam as a great human. He wrote, "Shocking! can't process the news. Poonam was great human being. Sad. RIP," along with a broken heart emoticon.

Earlier, Poonam was seen lauding her Lock Upp co-contestant Munawar Faruqui for winning Bigg Boss 17 and said, "I knew this somewhere ki ye jeetega. Main uske saath Lock Upp me teen mahina rahi hu, I know that brain. I am glad he won. Big congratulations to my brother".

Meanwhile, Akanksha Puri took to social media and mourned Poonam's demise. She wrote, "Shocking. I really can't believe this. You were a gem of a person Poonam. You always told me that a girl needs to be strong and love herself more before loving anyone else. You told me I am beautiful and I am strong and I should remind myself this everyday when I look at myself in the mirror and not wait for any man to come in my life and tell me this !! I will always remember what you told me Poonam. You were such a pure soul Poonam @poonampandeyreal. Gone too soon. We will miss you forever beautiful. #rippoonampandey #poonampandey"
