Diya Aur Baati Hum, December 19th episode written update: Sandhya tries to make a Chapatti but she fails. Imli wraps all the chapattis in a clothe bag and takes it downstairs handing it to Sandhya. She gives an indication to Suraj. But Dai Sa stops her midway and sends her back to make Pari drink the water.

Imli requests Meena to take the chapattis. She carefully steps in and ties the chapattis with kanha's walker. He walks right in the kitchen and calls Sandhya. The rolling pin falls down and she sees the clothe bag. She becomes elated with joy. She applies ghee on the chapattis and serves them to all the ladies. She serves them the chapattis and they all start eating. Everyone eats joyfully and Dai Sa praises Sandhya's cooking. Dai Sa asks to make more chapattis as she has loved the food.

Sandhya's face reddens up and she thinks how would she would make more chapattis without Imli and Meena's help. Dai Sa compliments Suraj for such a capable wife. He tells her to keep making the chapattis. Baba Sa also asks to have the food. Dai Sa asks Chaturi to serve the food to Baba Sa as well.

He asks her to prepare the plate according to four chapattis. Meena again ties the chapattis to Kanha's walker and sends him to hand over the chapattis to Sandhya. But Kanha stops midway. Meena goes back to the balcony carefully. Sandhya gets tensed to see him stopping midway and wonders what would she do if Kanha does not come to her.
