Diya Aur Baati Hum 8th January written Episode: IPS Singh is giving a lecture on following the rules. Everyone is waiting for Sandhya in her room. Sandhya is in the training room. Seeing the time, she thinks of her family needing to catch the train. Babasaa tells Bhabho to wait for ten minutes more but Bhabho tells they would miss the train. Suraj says that it is better to leave else it would be difficult to reach on time.

Bhabho is searching for Sandhya and Suraj says the class may be on. They sit inside the car. Suraj sees Sandhya in class through the window. She also sees him and he waves at her happily. Bhabho and Babasaa wave her goodbye and get into the car. An overwhelmed Suraj salutes Sandhya and leaves. Sandhya is in tears. Seeing this IPS Singh asks her whether she is fine. All the cadets are called in the morning and the lecture continues.

Suraj is missing Sandhya and remembers her the last night they spent together. Bhabho is weeping too. Sandhya, enters her room and seeing it empty and dark is very depressed thinking of all the special moments she shared with Suraj. She feels the smiley Suraj drew for her. She finds a letter near the pillow and sees it is from Suraj along with a mobile handset.

In the letter, he has encouraged her to fulfill her dream to become an IPS officer. She tries to call Suraj but doesn’t get connected. She gets emotional but seeing the smile, remembers to smile always as Suraj wishes.
