RV Ramana Murthy is planning to produce a film under the banner of Lalitasri Combines with versatile director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao wielding the megaphone on the life and history 'Tyagayya'. The film will have music from Maestro Ilayaraja. The producer announced this decision on the occasion of Guru Pournima.

Speaking on the occasion, the producer says, "We are very happy that we got the opportunity to produce a film on Tyagayya, who elevated the level of music by launching Carnatic style in the classical music. The film would be simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil languages. We will make efforts to explain in detail the music monarchy that prevailed in Tanjore."

"Especially, the film will depict the events that occurred in 18th and 19th century and the keertans that prevailed in classic music in fantastic tunes. JK Bharavi is penning the dialogues, while Ashokkumar is wielding the camera. The songs recording and shooting would be taken up in September and we have plans to release the film on January 6 next year," he added.
