Vikram's long wait

Vikram had to struggle a lot to make his mark as an actor in Telugu film industry. He finally came into his own with Aparichithudu. He is now rated as a fine actor and next only to Kamal Hassan in terms of variety and acting prowess. It is no exaggeration to say that many film scripts are now being written keeping Vikram in mind. Vikram has been signed up for a prestigious film opposite Aishwarya Rai. Ace director Mani Ratnam is making this film. Vikram's Bheema got inordinately delayed and he lost heavily on this account. The film is yet to be released. His current film Mallanna (Kandasamy in Tamil) is also getting delayed. This has affected his schedule and he is unable to take up new assignments.
