Namrata Shirodkar grilled by CBI

The CBI officials questioned Mahesh Babu's wife and actress Namrata Shirodkar in connection with the Emaar case. They recorded her statement at her residence in Jubilee Hills on Wednesday (September 14).

It is alleged that Namrata Shirodkar is one among 90 VVIPs, who purchased villas in Emmar Boulder Hills township at huge discounts. The CBI sleuths quizzed her about the mode of payment and other details. Sources further say that most of the owners have given contradictory statement on the purchasing amount of the property. Actor Ram Charan Teja, who is also in the list, will be grilled today.

It is alleged that they bought the land for Rs 5000 per sq. yd, when the registration fees were itself Rs 12,000.
