Guntur Kaaram, superstar Mahesh Babu's latest family action drama written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas is now ready to hit the OTT platform Netflix. It was released on January 12 as part of the sentimental Sankranti release all over the world. It stars Sreeleela as the love interest of Mahesh Babu. Despite underwhelming reviews, Mahesh Babu's performance from the movie remained outstanding.

This family action drama which marks the third collaboration of the actor and director after 14 years, is supposed to re-write the industry records. Unfortunately, the lack of a solid story and improper execution of the poor conflict point made Guntur Kaaram a film that Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas might want to forget quickly.

Ramana (Mahesh Babu) lives with his father Satyam (Jayaram) after his mother Vasundhara (Ramya Krishnan) estranges him. She also bears witness to a murder committed by Satyam, sending him to jail. Meanwhile, Ramana is summoned by his maternal grandfather Venkata Swamy (Prakash Raj) to sign documents that deny any property rights. He demands to see his mother Vasundhara, who is now re-married.
