Balakrishna asks Parvathi to gain weight

Actors are often cautious about the looks and appearance of their female co-stars because it will have larger impact on their on-screen chemistry. Tollywood superstar Balakrishna is not exception too, as he has suggested Parvathi Melton, who will romance him in Srimannarayana, to pile on the kilos.

Grapevine is abuzz with the rumours that Balakrishna was not impressed by Parvathi Melton's figure. As she would play the love interest of him in Srimannarayana, the actor wants her to share good screen space with her and her lean look might not work well. Hence, he asked her to un-follow her strict diet regime to put on the weight.

Curvy Parvathi Melton, who refused to increase the weight for the item number in Dookudu, agreed to his demand. Srimannarayana directed by Ravi Chavali is produced by Ramesh Puppala under the banner RR Movie Makers.
